Job summary

TekWissen is seeking a Messaging Services Advisor to serve as SME for Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 within Unified Messaging. The role involves advising on maintenance tasks, patching, and upgrades, and supporting Exchange On Premise and Online environments.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience, deep knowledge of Exchange versions, Office 365, and related tools like Boundary Services, IronPort, SharePoint, and MS Teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supporting multifarious Messaging environment.
• Expert knowledge on different versions of Exchange and Microsoft Office 365.
• Good working knowledge on Boundary Services, Relay server management & archiving solutions, IronPort administration.

Responsibilities

• Acts as SME for Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 within Unified Messaging.
• Advises in support and maintenance of Messaging software systems; performs patches and upgrades.
• Handles day-to-day incident and request management tasks.
• Identifies and contributes to automation solutions (e.g., PowerShell).
• Maintains knowledge on Outlook/OWA client issues and Office 365 core apps like SharePoint and OneDrive.

Job Description:

• Typically, the Messaging Services Advisor is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) with Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 within Unified Messaging and Communication.


• Good understanding and knowledge on Boundary Services, Relay server management, Ironport & Archiving solutions and Microsoft Teams.


• Advises in support and maintenance of the Microsoft Office 365


• Advises team in the maintenance tasks associated with the support, modification and updation of Messaging software systems. Works with more senior team members in performing patching, upgrades, etc.


• Administrator who specialized in Exchange On Premise (2013 to 2019), Exchange Online and Boundary Services (EOP, ATP, ProofPoint and Cisco IronPort)


• Administrator should also have generalized knowledge in other Office 365 core applications such as SharePoint, OneDrive and MS Teams


• Handles day to day Incident and Request management tasks


• Is responsible for identifying and contributing to automation solutions (e.g.: PowerShell coding)


• Extensive and thorough knowledge on Outlook, OWA Client related issues.

Basic Qualification

• Minimum 7+ years of experience supporting multifarious Messaging environment


• Expert knowledge on different versions of Exchange


• Expert knowledge on Microsoft Office 365


• Good working knowledge on Boundary Services, Relay server management & archiving solutions


• Good working knowledge on Ironport administration and perimeter e-mail filtering administration support


• Degree: Engineering graduate or Bachelor of Computer Science with relevant Messaging technology work experience.
