Job summary

TekWissen India is seeking a Messaging Services Advisor with deep expertise in Microsoft Exchange and Office 365. You will act as SME for Unified Messaging, supporting on-premises and cloud components, and work with the team to maintain and upgrade messaging infrastructure.

The role requires 7+ years in messaging environments, strong knowledge of Exchange versions, EOP/ATP, ProofPoint, and IronPort. Hybrid work model in India with a focus on incident handling and automation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience supporting multifarious Messaging environment.
• Expert knowledge on different versions of Exchange.
• Expert knowledge on Microsoft Office 365.
• Good working knowledge on Boundary Services, Relay server management & archiving solutions.
• Good working knowledge on IronPort administration and perimeter e-mail filtering administration support.
• Degree: Engineering graduate or Bachelor of Computer Science with relevant Messaging technology work experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 within Unified Messaging and Communication.
• Provide support and maintenance for Microsoft Office 365; assist with patching and upgrades.
• Administer Exchange On Premise (2013–2019), Exchange Online and Boundary Services (EOP, ATP, ProofPoint, Cisco IronPort).
• Collaborate with the team on SharePoint, OneDrive and MS Teams; handle incidents and requests; contribute to automation (PowerShell).

Job Description:

• Typically, the Messaging Services Advisor is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) with Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 within Unified Messaging and Communication.
• Good understanding and knowledge on Boundary Services, Relay server management, Ironport & Archiving solutions and Microsoft Teams.
• Advises in support and maintenance of the Microsoft Office 365
• Advises team in the maintenance tasks associated with the support, modification and updation of Messaging software systems. Works with more senior team members in performing patching, upgrades, etc.
• Administrator who specialized in Exchange On Premise (2013 to 2019), Exchange Online and Boundary Services (EOP, ATP, ProofPoint and Cisco IronPort)
• Administrator should also have generalized knowledge in other Office 365 core applications such as SharePoint, OneDrive and MS Teams
• Handles day to day Incident and Request management tasks
• Is responsible for identifying and contributing to automation solutions (e.g.: PowerShell coding)
• Extensive and thorough knowledge on Outlook, OWA Client related issues.
