Job Summary: -
We are seeking an experienced MES Consultant with strong DELMIA Apriso expertise to manage and contribute to the complete MES engagement lifecycle, from Presales and Solution Design through Implementation, Integration, Testing, Go-Live, Hypercare, and Postsales Support.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and the ability to work directly with customers to understand business requirements, design Apriso-based MES solutions, support implementation, lead Go-Live activities, and provide ongoing customer support and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Engage with customers to understand their manufacturing processes, business challenges, and MES requirements.
- Participate in Presales activities, RFP/RFQ responses, customer workshops, solution presentations, demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Prepare solution approaches, architecture, scope, effort estimates, implementation plans, technical proposals, and SOW inputs.
- Design and implement DELMIA Apriso MES solutions aligned with customer manufacturing requirements.
- Perform As-Is / To-Be process analysis and translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Configure, customize, and develop Apriso processes, workflows, business rules, and applications.
- Implement MES functionalities including Production, Quality, Inventory, Material Management, Traceability, and Shop-Floor Operations.
- Design and support integration between Apriso and SAP/Oracle ERP, PLM, SCADA, PLC, automation systems, and other enterprise applications.
- Work with APIs, web services, REST/SOAP, XML/JSON, databases, and middleware for system integration.
- Prepare functional specifications, technical design documents, test scenarios, user documentation, and deployment documentation.
- Coordinate and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and system validation.
- Work closely with technical, functional, infrastructure, ERP, automation, and customer teams throughout the implementation.
- Plan and execute deployment, data migration, cutover, and production readiness activities.
- Lead or support MES Go-Live, including coordination with customer and cross-functional teams.
- Provide Go-Live, hypercare, stabilization, and production support to ensure successful adoption of the MES solution.
- Troubleshoot functional and technical issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Provide Postsales support, enhancements, change requests, optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct customer reviews and recommend improvements to manufacturing processes and MES solutions.
- Identify additional customer requirements and support future enhancements, plant rollouts, upgrades, and expansion opportunities.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and act as a trusted MES/Apriso consultant and solution advisor.
- Coordinate with internal delivery teams and provide technical/functional guidance where required.
Preferred Experience: -
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, electronics, or discrete manufacturing.
- Experience with multiple Apriso modules such as Production, Quality, Warehouse/Logistics, Maintenance, and Traceability.
- Experience leading customer workshops and Apriso demonstrations.
- Experience in MES solution architecture and large-scale implementations.
- Experience handling multiple plants, global rollouts, or MES transformation programs.
Apriso certification is an added advantage.
