Job summary

Jindal Stainless Limited is seeking a highly skilled Associate Manager in the Digital & IT department within the Mining & Metals industry for DELMIA Apriso development. The role involves designing, developing, configuring, integrating, testing, and supporting Apriso-based manufacturing solutions.

The candidate should have 5–8 years of hands-on MES experience with DELMIA Apriso, and will work on integrations with SAP/ERP, PLC, SCADA, REST/SOAP APIs, and SQL.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of IT/MES experience with strong hands-on DELMIA Apriso experience.
• Strong experience in DELMIA Apriso development and customization.
• Hands-on experience with Apriso Process Builder, GPM, Business Components, Screen/UI development, Business Integrator, Machine Integrator, CRUD development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate into technical DELMIA Apriso solutions.
• Design, develop, configure and customize Apriso MES/MOM applications.
• Develop and maintain Process Builder workflows, business processes, screens, and custom components.
• Integrate Apriso with SAP/ERP, PLC, SCADA and other shop-floor systems.
• Develop REST/SOAP APIs and XML/JSON interfaces; write SQL queries and procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform unit/system/integration testing; support UAT.
• Support deployments across DEV/QA/UAT/Production; production support.

Position description:Jindal Stainless Limited is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Manager to join our Digital & IT department within the Mining & Metals industry. We are looking for an experienced DELMIA Apriso Developer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and DELMIA Apriso development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, integrating, testing, and supporting Apriso-based manufacturing solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and manufacturing requirements and translate them into technical solutions using DELMIA Apriso.
• Design, develop, configure, and customize DELMIA Apriso MES/MOM applications.
• Develop and maintain Process Builder workflows, business processes, screens, and custom components .
• Work with Global Process Manager (GPM), Business Integrator, and Machine Integrator .
• Develop CRUD operations and custom functionality within Apriso.
• Develop integrations between Apriso and external systems such as SAP/ERP, PLC, SCADA, and other shop-floor systems .
• Develop and consume REST/SOAP Web Services , APIs, XML/JSON-based interfaces.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database operations .
• Troubleshoot application, integration, database, and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Perform unit testing, system/integration testing, defect fixing, and support UAT.
• Support deployment across DEV, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• Participate in production support and post-go-live stabilization.
• Prepare technical specifications, design documents, deployment documents, and support documentation.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, project managers, QA teams, and client stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers and contribute to coding standards and best practices.

Skills:

• 5–8 years of overall IT/MES experience , with strong hands-on experience in DELMIA Apriso.
• Strong experience in DELMIA Apriso development and customization .

• Experience with SIT, UAT, defect management, deployment, and production support .

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering , or a related discipline.
• Relevant DELMIA Apriso certification will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of manufacturing business processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a global project team.
• Ability to mentor junior developers.
• Good documentation and technical writing skills.
