Job summary

Western Refrigeration Pvt Ltd is seeking a software engineer to develop and maintain MES applications for shop-floor operations and to build responsive web applications for manufacturing processes.

You will design backend APIs, integrate with PLCs and ERP, and create real-time dashboards for production monitoring, OEE, downtime, and reliability. Collaboration with production, quality, maintenance, and IT teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications for shop-floor operations.
• Design and develop responsive web applications using React.js, Node.js, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop backend APIs and database-driven applications for manufacturing and business processes.
• Create real-time dashboards for production monitoring, OEE, downtime, rejection analysis, and productivity tracking.
• Integrate MES applications with PLCs, machines, barcode systems, ERP, and other industrial systems.
• Develop and maintain SQL databases, reports, and data management systems.
• Work on automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and IT teams to understand process requirements and implement digital solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and system-related issues.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and system reliability.
• Develop user-friendly interfaces and customizable reporting systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, backup, and system documentation.
• Participate in software testing, deployment, and user training activities.
• Work on continuous improvement and process digitalization projects.
