Job summary

Tata AutoComp in Pune is seeking an experienced MES/IoT Engineer to design, develop and validate MES/IoT solutions for manufacturing operations, with a focus on efficiency and system sustenance.

You will integrate MES/IoT with ERP, SCADA and other enterprise apps, monitor KPIs such as OEE, quality and cycle time, and provide troubleshooting plus infrastructure management for MES/IoT and IT systems. Be ready to collaborate with vendors and lead projects while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on MES/IoT experience with Apriso, Opcenter, Rockwell or similar solutions.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and industrial protocols (OPC, MQTT).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate MES/IoT solutions for manufacturing.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced MES / IoT Engineer to join our team. As an MES / IoT Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, development and validation of systems to optimize processes and improve efficiency with system sustenance and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support MES/IoT solutions for manufacturing operations.
• Integrate MES/IoT systems with ERP, SCADA, and other enterprise applications.
• Monitor and optimize manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, quality, yield, and cycle time.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and infrastructure management for MES/IoT & IT systems.
• Ensure compliance with information security standards and industry regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors/suppliers and lead MES/IoT projects and teams.
• Train end users and maintain system documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with MES platforms such as Apriso, Opcenter, Rockwell, or similar solutions.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems (PFMEA, Control Plan, PFD), SQL, and databases.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (OPC, MQTT).
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISA-95, cybersecurity, and information security practices.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Industry Preference: Automotive, Electronics, Pharmaceuticals, or other Manufacturing industries.
