Responsibilities

• Generate cost sheets by obtaining fabric and trims costs.
• Ensure materials/approvals are in place before PCD.
• Monitor quality at sampling and bulk stages for fabric/trims.
• Follow up on targets with departments and maintain cordial relationships with other departments.
• Maintain relations with buying agents/buyers and clarify their requirements.
• Assist in pattern making with the pattern maker.
• Arrange similar fabrics and trims as per orders, and place material orders.
• Provide costing details to buyers including fabric and trim costs and washing costs.
• Prepare costing and estimate profits for each order.
• Generate MIS reports for timely ERP entries.

Roles and responsibilities

• Ability to generate a cost sheet by obtaining fabric/trims costs
• Ensures all materials/approvals are in place before the PCD
• Ensures and checks that the correct quality is maintained at the sampling and bulk stages. Also, the quality of fabric/trims needs to be monitored
• Effectively follows up on the target with the concerned department & maintains cordial relationships with all the other departments in the organization
• Maintains cordial relationship & effectively communicates with the buying agent/buyer
• Clarifies all details with buyers regarding their requirements.
• To efficiently make patterns with the help of the pattern maker.
• To efficiently arrange for similar required fabric as per the order
• To efficiently arrange for trims and accessories in accordance to the orders by placing orders for material, accessories, fabric, thread etc
• Give costing details to buyers such as consumption, fabric costs, trim costs, and washing costs.
• Prepare costing and estimate profits from each order.
• Maintain cordial relations with all departments
• To strategise innovative ideas to simplify processes and make it more efficient
• To generate required MIS reports and provide the same to the concerned departments to ensure erp entries are done on time.
