Job summary

Tirupur Hub Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Merchandiser for its Nochipalayam/Tiruppur operations in Tamil Nadu. The role covers development to bulk production, coordinating with sampling and production teams to ensure styles meet buyer requirements.

The ideal candidate has 3–11 years in apparel merchandising, with hands-on experience in complex fast-fashion development, prints, finishes, and value-added techniques. Strong communication and multi-style management are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–11 years of apparel merchandising experience.
• Hands-on experience with complex fast-fashion development and bulk production.
• Proven ability to coordinate sampling and production teams.
• Strong understanding of tech packs, garment construction, fabric specs, GSM, trims and measurements.
• Experience with prints, washes, finishes and value-added techniques.

Responsibilities

• Handle the complete merchandising cycle, from product development and sampling to bulk production and final dispatch.
• Coordinate closely with sample merchandisers, sampling tailors, pattern masters and the production team to develop samples as per buyer requirements.
• Review tech packs, measurement charts, construction details and buyer comments to ensure accurate sample development.
• Manage complex fast-fashion styles involving all-over prints (AOP), screen and digital prints, embroidery, specialty washes, garment dyeing and other value-added finishes.
• Coordinate with fabric, printing, washing and processing teams to ensure correct execution of styles.
• Follow up on sample submissions, fit approvals, print strike-offs, wash trials, size sets and pre-production approvals.
• Ensure a smooth handover from sampling to bulk production, communicating all technical details and approved standards to the production team.
• Monitor bulk production at every stage to ensure quality, measurements, print placement, wash effects and construction match approved samples.
• Coordinate with quality, fabric, stores and production departments to resolve bottlenecks and prevent delays.
• Track critical paths, production schedules, material availability and delivery timelines.
• Communicate with buyers regarding development updates, approvals, technical clarifications and production progress.
• Proactively identify production challenges and ensure timely corrective action.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 3–11 years in apparel merchandising.
• Salary: ₹30,000-₹50,000 per month onwards; no upper limit for the right candidate.
• Strong experience in fast‑fashion apparel, preferably knitwear.
• Practical knowledge of complex prints, speciality washes, garment finishes and product development.
• Proven ability to coordinate with sampling teams and drive sample development independently.
• Strong understanding of tech packs, garment construction, fabric specifications, GSM, trims and measurements.
• Experience managing bulk production, quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Excellent coordination, follow‑up, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple styles and work under tight timelines.
