Job summary

Gokaldas Exports is seeking a Senior Executive Merchandising to manage the complete merchandising cycle for international buyer accounts from development to shipment. The role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams and leading a team of merchandisers to meet delivery, quality, and commercial targets.

The ideal candidate has 3–8 years of merchandising experience, with exposure to international buyers, sportswear, and knit & woven categories.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of merchandising experience.
• Experience with international buyer accounts.
• Sportswear merchandising experience preferred.
• Knowledge of knit and woven product categories.

• Manage the complete merchandising cycle from product development to shipment for international buyers.
• Independently handle buyer accounts, including costing, order execution, and delivery.
• Coordinate with sourcing, production, quality, planning, and logistics for timely execution.
• Monitor calendars and ensure on-time shipment while meeting quality and compliance standards.
• Build strong relationships with buyers and support business growth.
• Lead and mentor a team of Merchandisers/Assistant Merchandisers.
• Drive process improvements to achieve delivery, quality, and commercial objectives.

• Build strong relationships with buyers and support business growth.


• Lead and mentor a team of Merchandisers/Assistant Merchandisers.


• Drive process improvements to achieve delivery, quality, and commercial objectives.

Preferred Profile

• Prior experience in an apparel export house with exposure to managing international buyer accounts.


• Sportswear merchandising experience is preferred.


• Experience in handling both Knit & Woven product categories is preferred.
