Cotton Concepts is seeking a procurement professional in Coimbatore, India, to source fabrics, trims, and packaging materials and to build strong supplier relationships. The role involves coordinating with Merchandising, Product Development, Production, Planning, and Quality teams to ensure timely material availability.

You will monitor supplier performance, negotiate terms, and drive continuous improvement in sourcing and vendor management within a fast-paced textile environment.

• Source fabrics, trims, accessories, and textile packaging materials from reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Develop, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with domestic suppliers and business partners.
• Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely availability of fabrics, trims, accessories, and packaging materials.
• Follow up with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials as per production schedules.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, lead times, and delivery schedules with suppliers while maintaining long-term business relationships.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Product Development, Production, Planning, and Quality teams to ensure smooth order execution.
• Monitor material availability and proactively resolve supply-related issues to avoid production delays.
• Prepare purchase follow-up reports, vendor performance reports, presentations, and procurement documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier quotations, purchase status, approvals, and sourcing documentation.
• Identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities to improve quality, cost competitiveness, and supply reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing, procurement, and vendor management.
