Job summary

Suchirindia Constructions is seeking a competent MEP site supervisor to oversee electrical and plumbing works on site in Hyderabad. The role requires coordinating with civil teams, interpreting drawings, and managing subcontractors to ensure work aligns with approved drawings, schedules and quality standards.

The candidate should demonstrate strong coordination skills, timely problem-solving, and ability to work under deadlines on large projects.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Electrical & Plumbing MEP works.
• Drawing interpretation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute electrical works as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Review electrical layouts, SLD, load schedules, cable schedules and shop drawings.
• Coordinate installation of LT panels, DBs, cables, conduits, switches, sockets, lighting and earthing systems.
• Monitor cable laying, termination, dressing and testing activities.
• Ensure proper installation of internal and external lighting systems.
• Coordinate electrical requirements for HVAC, pumps, lifts and other MEP equipment.
• Monitor installation of DG, transformer, UPS and other electrical systems where applicable.
• Inspect electrical materials received at site and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
• Conduct and coordinate testing of electrical installations before commissioning.
• Identify electrical issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Plan daily MEP activities in coordination with the Project Manager/Site Engineer.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors and technicians at the project site.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, BOQ, specifications and method statements.
• Monitor manpower, materials and equipment required for MEP activities.
• Track project progress and ensure activities are completed within the planned schedule.
• Identify site-level technical issues and provide practical solutions.
• Ensure proper coordination between MEP services and civil/structural works.
• Study and interpret MEP drawings, electrical layouts and shop drawings.
• Coordinate drawing requirements and resolve discrepancies at site.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports and site inspection reports.
• Maintain material records, inspection requests and testing reports.
• Review as-built drawings and ensure site changes are properly documented.
• Assist in preparing quantity requirements and material estimates.

Role & responsibilities

Electrical Works

2. Plumbing Works

• Supervise execution of water supply, drainage and plumbing systems as per approved drawings.
• Coordinate installation of cold water, hot water and sanitary systems.
• Monitor installation of UPVC, CPVC, PPR, HDPE, GI and other plumbing pipelines as applicable.
• Supervise drainage, soil, waste and vent piping works.
• Ensure proper installation of pumps, tanks, valves, fixtures and sanitary fittings.
• Conduct pressure testing and leakage testing of plumbing pipelines.
• Check pipe slopes, supports, sleeves and alignment before concealment.
• Coordinate plumbing works with Civil, Structural and Architectural teams.
• Ensure proper connection of plumbing systems to tanks, pumps, STP/WTP and other relevant systems.

3. Site Execution & Supervision
