Job summary

Shashwath Solution is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to lead execution of MEP services in premium building projects, including 5-star hotels, hospitals, and large commercial developments. You will oversee on-site coordination, drawings interpretation, and ensure quality, safety, and timelines.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in MEP execution, a Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree, proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and BIM/Revit familiarity.

Qualifications

• Experience in MEP execution for premium building projects.
• Proven ability to coordinate across architects, civil engineers and vendors.
• Strong reading of drawings and specifications (MEP).
• Familiar with local codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution and coordination of MEP systems at project sites.
• Interpret designs, drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to integrate MEP services into workflows.
• Ensure quality, safety and project timelines are met.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors for MEP work.
• Monitor installation progress and perform quality checks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and provide guidance.
• Provide documentation, reports, and compliance records.
• Support commissioning and handover activities.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with reputed construction companies, particularly in projects involving 5-star hotels, leading hospitals, or large-scale commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee execution and coordination of MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV) at project sites.
• Interpret MEP designs, drawings, and specifications and ensure implementation aligns with project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP services smoothly into construction workflows.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors involved in MEP work.
• Monitor MEP installation progress and perform quality checks at different phases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve MEP-related technical issues on-site.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams for installation and commissioning.
• Maintain all documentation, including reports, progress updates, and compliance records.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in MEP execution within building construction.
• Proven track record working on high-end projects such as 5-star hotels, hospitals, or large commercial buildings.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and local regulations.
• Excellent project coordination, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; experience with Revit/BIM is an added advantage.

Preferred Experience:

• Working with top-tier construction companies or developers.
• Experience with fast-track projects or luxury developments.
• Exposure to green building practices or sustainable MEP systems.
