Job summary

Chanslar Estate seeks an experienced MEP Engineer to design, coordinate, and supervise complete MEP services for building projects. You will develop drawings, specifications, and cost estimates, and perform system analyses including HVAC loads, electrical demand, and water supply.

Responsibilities include coordinating with architects, civil engineers, and contractors, inspecting installations, ensuring commissioning and handover, maintaining documentation, and mentoring junior staff while

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Plumbing.
• Experience coordinating with architects, civil engineers and contractors.
• Strong understanding of local building codes and safety standards.

Job description

MEP MEP Engineer are as under:-

1. 1. Design & Planning
2. 2. Develop mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system designs.
3. 3. Prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for MEP systems.
4. 4. Conduct system analysis and calculations (HVAC loads, electrical demand, water supply, etc.).
5. 5. Ensure designs meet local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability goals.
6. 6. Manage all finishing works (Ceiling, Flooring (Tiles, Marble, Granite) and painting etc.)

Coordination & Collaboration

1. 1. Work closely with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems into overall building design.
2. 2. Resolve design conflicts between structural and service systems.
3. 3. Participate in project management meetings to align construction progress with MEP requirements.

Installation & Supervision

1. 1. Inspect and supervise installation of HVAC, electrical wiring, lighting, fire safety, and plumbing systems.
2. 2. Ensure proper commissioning and testing of systems before handover.
3. 3. Monitor contractors to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.

5. 5. Troubleshoot and resolve system failures or inefficiencies.
6. 6. Recommend upgrades for energy efficiency.

4. 4. Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings etc.).
5. 5. Manage properly every data in soft copy and hard copy.
6. 6. Enforce adherence to federal, state, and local safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
7. 7. Assessment of potential risks, materials and costs.
8. 8. Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
9. 9. Project execution and site management.
10. 10. Monitor progress and compile reports of project.
