Job summary

Beacon Associates is seeking an MEP Installation Engineer to supervise the installation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting and other MEP systems per approved drawings and specifications. You will also ensure that works align with the project schedule and that site activities coordinate with civil and finishing teams to prevent clashes.

Responsibilities include quality checks, material management, testing and commissioning coordination, and adherence to safety procedures.

• Supervise installation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting and other MEP systems per drawings and specifications.
• Ensure MEP works are completed according to the project schedule and planned milestones.
• Ensure site execution follows approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements and applicable standards.
• Check workmanship, materials and installation quality; identify and rectify defects promptly.
• Coordinate MEP activities with civil, finishing, structural and other site teams to avoid clashes and rework.
• Allocate daily work to technicians/workers and monitor productivity and attendance.
• Ensure required MEP materials are available at site and are properly stored and used without unnecessary wastage.
• Coordinate testing, inspection and commissioning of MEP systems and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure MEP activities are carried out according to site safety procedures, including electrical and work-at-height safety.
• Coordinate inspections with QA/QC, consultants and project engineers and close inspection observations.
• Site Documentation - Immediate joiners preferred
