Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji Group in India is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to oversee execution, coordination, inspection and commissioning of MEP works for high-rise residential and commercial projects.

The role requires hands-on site experience and the ability to coordinate electrical, plumbing/PHE, HVAC and fire fighting with civil, structural and architectural teams to ensure drawings and specifications are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience executing MEP works on high-rise residential or commercial projects.
• Capable of coordinating Electrical, Plumbing/PHE, HVAC and Fire Fighting with civil, structural and architectural teams.
• Practical site experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day MEP works at site as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with MEP subcontractors, vendors and site teams.
• Ensure works are executed as per project drawings, specifications and approved materials.
• Monitor daily progress and manpower deployment.
• Identify site issues and coordinate their resolution.
• Ensure proper sequencing of MEP works with civil and architectural activities.
• Supervise electrical installation works including HT/LT, panels, transformers, DG, cable trays, busduct, cabling and DBs.
• Coordinate lighting, power, earthing and lightning-protection works.
• Check electrical shafts, risers and common-area installations.
• Coordinate ELV and fire-alarm works where applicable.
• Inspect installations and ensure compliance with approved drawings.
• Supervise domestic water supply and drainage works.
• Coordinate soil, waste, vent and rainwater systems.
• Supervise water tanks, pumps, plumbing shafts and risers.
• Monitor STP and associated plumbing works.
• Conduct and coordinate pressure testing and drainage testing.
