Position Summary

Aratt Developers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled MEP Engineer with 5 to 6 years of experience in residential real estate projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and monitoring Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works to ensure timely execution while maintaining quality, safety, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

MEP Project Execution

• Supervise Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and HVAC installation works as per approved drawings and project specifications.
• Ensure timely execution of MEP activities in line with construction schedules.
• Coordinate MEP activities with civil, architectural, and finishing teams to avoid clashes and delays.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with project timelines.

Planning & Coordination

• Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, and coordinated drawings before execution.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
• Attend project review meetings and provide technical updates.
• Ensure proper coordination during testing, commissioning, and project handover.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure all MEP installations comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, and applicable standards.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout project execution.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
• Prepare snag lists and ensure timely closure before handover.

Billing & Documentation

• Verify contractor and subcontractor measurements.
• Review and certify RA bills related to MEP works.
• Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records, and project documentation.
• Assist in preparing project cost reports and material reconciliation statements.

Material Management

• Plan material requirements based on project schedules.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of MEP materials and equipment.
• Verify material specifications and quality before installation.
• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to company safety policies and statutory regulations.
• Monitor safe execution of electrical and mechanical works.
• Ensure compliance with NBC, IS Codes, Fire Safety Standards, and local authority requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and support corrective actions.

Testing & Commissioning

• Coordinate testing and commissioning of all MEP systems.
• Ensure proper documentation of test reports and commissioning records.
• Support final inspections and client handover activities.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and HVAC systems.
• Experience in residential and commercial high-rise projects.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, and coordinated drawings.
• Knowledge of testing, commissioning, and handover procedures.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and meet project deadlines.

• B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Diploma holders with relevant experience may also be considered.

Preferred Experience

• 5 to 6 Years of experience in MEP execution for residential real estate projects.
• Experience in high-rise building construction is preferred.
• Exposure to complete project lifecycle from execution through testing, commissioning, and handover.
