Bachelor degree/diploma in Electrical/Electronic Instrumentation/HVAC/Mechanical Engineering
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
4-6 years
SOFTWARE
Strong AutoCAD, Revit MEP and Microsoft Office Software knowledge.
JOB DESCRIPTION DETAIL
- Projects site visits as required. Strong knowledge in Mechanical (Fire Protection System & HVAC), Electrical (HV, MV, LV, ELV Systems), Public Health Engineering (Water Supply, Drainage, Pump Stations, STP, WTP, OWC, BWTP), Lifts.
- Strong knowledge in Design and Quantity Survey, Estimation, Costing & Budgeting in MEP System.
- Strong knowledge in Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of the MEP System.
- Manage multiple sites at one time.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate MEP systems into the overall project design, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
- Manage project budgets, including estimating costs associated with materials, labor, and MEP equipment, and controlling costs within financial limits.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Prepare and maintain project documents, including progress reports, change requests, and specifications.
- Perform quality inspections of MEP installations to verify that they meet the highest industry standards and comply with all relevant regulations and code.
- Monitor and track project progress, identify and mitigate any issues or risks that may arise.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction activities comply with project plans.
- Provide guidance and technical support to cross-functional project teams.
- Collaborate with project team to complete post-construction reviews and lessons learned.
ANY OTHER SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- 4-6 years of experience working as a MEP Engineer or similar role on large-scale High-Rise Building Residential & Commercial Construction projects.
- Bachelor degree/diploma in Electrical/Electronic Instrumentation/HVAC/Mechanical Engineering.
- Excellent communication skills & strong analytical ability.
- Construction estimating or finance experience is advantageous.
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills & ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
