Job summary

PropChk in Bengaluru seeks an experienced MEP Engineer to lead the execution and quality assurance of MEP works including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, steam and fire protection. You will ensure compliance with project standards, timelines and safety requirements on high-rise residential projects.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of site QC experience, strong coordination skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of site execution and QC experience on high-rise residential projects.
• Experience leading MEP execution and quality assurance on complex sites.
• Knowledge of IS codes, NBC, safety and QC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution of all MEP works at site.
• Review drawings and coordinate with consultants and contractors.
• Conduct inspections and implement QC checks.
• Resolve technical issues and site constraints.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress and inspection reports.
• Supervise testing and commissioning of MEP systems.

Experience Required:

Role Purpose:

Lead the execution and quality assurance of all MEP works (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Firefighting), ensuring compliance with project standards, timelines, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee execution of all MEP works at site.


• Review drawings and coordinate with consultants and contractors.


• Conduct inspections and implement QC checks.


• Resolve technical issues and site constraints.


• Prepare daily/weekly progress and inspection reports.


• Supervise testing and commissioning of MEP systems.


• Ensure compliance with statutory codes and safety norms.


• Mentor and guide junior engineers and supervisors.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in HVAC, Electrical, Firefighting, Plumbing & ELV systems.


• Good knowledge of IS codes, NBC, safety, and QC procedures.


• Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tracking tools.

Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 5 to 8 years of site execution & QC experience. TPQI (Third-Party Quality Inspection) experience preferred.
