Job summary

Isprava is seeking an experienced MEP Design Manager to lead the end-to-end design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for our luxury villa developments. This role requires strong technical depth, leadership, and exceptional communication to collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients.

You will guide BIM-enabled design processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery across high-end residential projects in premium locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering; 5+ years of MEP design and project management experience.
• Luxurious villa/high-end residential or hospitality sector experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills to guide multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end MEP design development, ensuring compliance with project specs and industry standards.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and stakeholders to integrate MEP with building design.
• Provide subject matter expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for optimal design decisions.
• Review and approve MEP drawings and specifications for regulatory compliance and accuracy.
• Manage budgets and schedules related to MEP design and implementation; ensure cost effectiveness.
• Mentor junior engineers and drafters, fostering growth and knowledge transfer.

About the Role

As an MEP Design Manager at our esteemed luxury villa real estate development firm, you will play a pivotal role in transforming architectural visions into reality. This position demands strong technical expertise, innovative design capabilities, and excellent communication skills. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems are designed meticulously and integrated seamlessly, complying with industry regulations while enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our high end residential projects.

Responsibilities

• Design Leadership: Lead the end to end development and innovative design of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Coordination: Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate functional MEP systems with elegant building designs.
• Technical Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, guiding team decisions and optimizing design methodologies.
• Plan Review: Conduct detailed reviews and approvals of MEP drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Cost & Schedule Management: Manage budgets and timelines related to MEP design and implementation, ensuring cost effectiveness and on time delivery.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design conflicts and compliance issues proactively to maintain project quality and deadlines.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and drafters, fostering professional growth through effective delegation and support.
• Communication: Maintain transparent communication across clients, teams, and stakeholders, simplifying complex technical data for diverse audiences.
• BIM Implementation: Utilize BIM technologies for enhanced design accuracy, coordination, and project visualization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of comprehensive MEP design and project management experience, preferably in luxury villas, highend residential, or hospitality sectors.

Required Skills

• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD (mandatory), Revit MEP, ETAP, Dialux, HAP, Excel.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design principles.
• Leadership & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for team guidance and clear dialogue with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges throughout project phases.
• Organizational Skills: Effective multitasking and prioritization in fastpaced environments.
• Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work efficiently within crossfunctional teams ensuring optimal project outcomes.

• Extensive experience reviewing MEP specs and ensuring regulatory compliance.
