A luxury real estate company is seeking an experienced MEP Lead to oversee the design and integration of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for high-end residential projects in Mumbai. This full-time position requires a strong background in MEP systems, project management experience, and excellent leadership skills. Ideal candidates will have a relevant engineering degree and a drive to work in a fast-paced environment.

Overview

The MEP Lead plays a critical role in the successful execution of luxurious residential projects by leading the design and integration of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, design leadership, and effective communication to ensure all systems are compliant with regulations while enhancing the overall architectural vision.

Key Responsibilities

Direct the development and design of MEP systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and adherence to industry standards.
Coordinate seamless collaboration with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve a cohesive building design that harmonizes aesthetics with functional MEP systems.
Provide specialized knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems to guide the project team and inform design decisions.
Conduct thorough reviews and approvals of MEP drawings and specifications, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.
Oversee project budgets and schedules related to MEP design and implementation, monitoring financial performance while delivering on time.
Proactively identify potential design conflicts and compliance risks, resolving issues expeditiously to maintain project timelines and integrity.
Mentor and supervise junior engineers and drafters, fostering an environment of growth through technical guidance and effective delegation of tasks.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a related field.
