Mep Coordinator / MEP Construction Manager

Job summary

Denasa Buildcon in Pune seeks an experienced MEP Project Coordinator to oversee Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting activities on building, industrial and infra jobs. You will coordinate with head office, project sites, clients and subcontractors, review drawings, BOQs and scope of work, and monitor progress against drawings and specs.

The role requires strong site execution, cost awareness and ability to travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 812 years of experience in MEP execution in building/industrial/infrastructure construction.
• Strong practical site execution experience.
• Good understanding of Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems.
• Ability to understand MEP BOQs and carry out/review rate analysis.
• Experience dealing with clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors.
• Good understanding of MEP procurement and construction costs.
• Should be comfortable travelling to project sites when required.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP activities between Head Office, project sites, clients and subcontractors.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs and scope of work.
• Coordinate Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting services.
• Review MEP estimates, rate analysis, vendor quotations and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare and monitor MEP budgets and package-wise cost forecasts.
• Coordinate procurement of major MEP materials and equipment.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals and technical submissions.
• Identify design gaps, clashes and constructability issues and coordinate their resolution.
• Monitor site execution, quality, progress and adherence to drawings/specifications.
• Review measurements, subcontractor bills, variations and additional works.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover.
• Provide management with regular updates on MEP cost, progress, risks and commercial exposure.
