Job summary

Sumanam Engineering Services (P) Ltd in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala seeks a BIM designer specialized in Revit MEP to develop models for mechanical and electrical systems in line with project standards.

You will coordinate architecture, structure, and MEP services for clash-free outputs, conduct model audits and clash detection using Navisworks, and ensure compliance with BIM standards and LOD 100–500.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Revit MEP modeling.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire Fighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and service drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP and Navisworks Manage.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and LOD standards (LOD 100–500) preferred.

Qualification: Diploma/B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Revit MEP models for Mechanical and Electrical systems as per project standards.
• Coordinate and integrate architectural, structural, and MEP services for clash-free design output.
• Conduct periodic model audits, clash detection, and coordination meetings using Navisworks or equivalent tools.
• Ensure compliance with company BIM execution standards and international design codes.
• Collaborate closely with design engineers, project managers, and other discipline leads to achieve design intent and delivery timelines.
• Maintain drawing documentation, version control, and submission logs.

Required Qualification and Experience

• Diploma/B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 2 year of hands‑on experience in Revit MEP modeling.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire Fighting systems
