Latinem in Hyderabad, India, is seeking a BIM Coordinator MEP to ensure MEP information delivered by consultants and contractors meets the company’s standards and EIR, and to prepare data for operations and facility management.

You will review models for MEP, verify naming and system assignments, run clash checks, manage MEP content in the CDE, and report gaps to the BIM Manager to keep project coordination on track.

Competenze

• BIM experience on large GCC projects with complex building services.
• Working knowledge of ISO 19650 and local authority BIM submission requirements.
• [5+] years in MEP BIM modelling or coordination (overall 6-8 years in AEC)

BIM Coordinator MEP

Reports to: BIM Manager | Location: Hyderabad, India | Type: Full-time

Role purpose

Assure the MEP information that consultants and contractors deliver on the company's projects. The role checks MEP models against the company's standards and EIR, and makes sure equipment and systems data is ready for operations and facility management.

Key responsibilities

• Review mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire services models at each stage against the EIR and BEP.
• Verify naming, classification, system assignment and Level of Information Need for MEP elements.
• Run clash and coordination checks within MEP and with architecture/structure; track issues in BCF.
• Check ceiling voids, shafts, plant rooms and maintenance access clearances in the models.
• Review contractor MEP shop drawings and combined services drawings against approved models.

Requirements

Essential

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• [6-8] years in AEC, including [5+] years in MEP BIM modelling or coordination.
• BIM experience on large GCC projects with complex building services.
• Working knowledge of ISO 19650 and local authority BIM submission requirements.
• Revit (MEP), Navisworks or Solibri, IFC, COBie, and a major CDE (e.g. ACC).

Desirable

Fabrication or prefabrication modelling; CAFM data integration; Dynamo;

Key competencies

Checks detail methodically and reports issues clearly to consultants and contractors. Works constructively with the BIM Manager and project teams to close issues on time.
