Meinhardt EPCM (India) Private Limited seeks a BIM Coordinator (MEPF) to deliver mechanical, piping, and fire/procurement BIM coordination across disciplines in Bengaluru. You will maintain BIM models, perform clash detection, and support project teams with standards and workflows.
The role requires strong communication, time management, and hands-on experience with BIM software. On-site work in Bengaluru is expected with collaboration across engineers and stakeholders.
The MEPF BIM Coordinator will responsible for delivering the mechanical, Process, Piping, fire and Plumbing engineering through BIM processes at Project level or at discipline level
Model Coordination and Management:
Assists in developing and maintaining BIM models according to project standards and the BIM Execution Plan.
Coordinates model exchanges between different disciplines (architectural, structural, Civil, Infrastructure, mechanical, Process, Piping, fire and Plumbing etc.).
Performs model quality checks, identifying and reporting issues.
Conducts clash detection and supports the resolution of conflicts
Supports BIM Manager in creating and maintaining BIM standards and guidelines.
Provides technical support to project team members using BIM software.
Helps with the implementation of BIM workflows and processes
Creates and maintains BIM documentation, including model reports, and meeting minutes.
Preparation SOPs and format for drawing extraction, drafting standards & BOQ etc.
Review model extracted drawings as part of IDC and design QA process
Communicates with project stakeholders incldung client, discipline modelers & lead engineers, Project coordinator & Project manager regarding BIM-related issues and updates.
Assists in training new team members on BIM software and project-specific procedures.
Shares knowledge and best practices with team members to improve BIM proficiency.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or any relevant Engineering
