Job summary

Kepl Epc Infra in Tamil Nadu is seeking an MEP Estimation and Billing Engineer with practical experience in estimation, quantity take-offs, cost control, billing, rate analysis, and procurement coordination for MEP projects.

Proficiency in interpreting MEP drawings, specifications, and contract conditions, with effective coordination between site and commercial teams across HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire systems is required. Work location is in-person.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimation, quantity take-offs, cost control, billing, rate analysis, and procurement coordination for MEP projects.
• Ability to interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and contract conditions.
• Strong coordination between site and commercial teams across HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotations for MEP works based on project requirements and client specs.
• Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and technical specs for accurate estimation and quoting.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for MEP systems from drawings and specs.
• Perform rate analysis and cost breakdowns using market rates and vendor quotations.
• Prepare and verify client, subcontractor, RA, and final bills per contract conditions.
• Coordinate with site teams to validate quantities for billing and final bills.
• Handle material procurement, issue purchase orders, delivery challans, and verify invoices.
• Collect and analyze material and vendor quotations for estimation and procurement.
• Prepare work orders for subcontractors and validate their claims and measurements.
• Maintain records of change orders, variations, ongoing quotations, and daily progress for tracking.
• Ensure compliance with MEP standards, codes, specs, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing accurate quotations for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting) works based on project requirements and client specifications. Reviewing tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications to ensure accurate estimation and quoting. Preparing detailed quantity take-offs for MEP systems from drawings and specifications. Performing rate analysis and cost breakdowns based on market rates, vendor quotations ,and standard practices. Preparing and verifying client bills, subcontractor bills, RA bills, and final bills in accordance with contract conditions. Coordinating with site teams to validate executed quantities for billing and RA/final bills. Handling material procurement, including preparation of purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoice verification. Collecting, comparing, and analyzing material and vendor quotations for estimation and procurement purposes. Preparing work orders for subcontractors and validating their claims and measurements. Maintaining records of change orders, additional works, deviations, ongoing quotations ,and daily work progress for effective project tracking. Ensuring compliance with MEP standards, codes, specifications, and contractual requirements.
