Job summary

Unacademy is hiring a Mentorship Program Manager in Bengaluru to own the end-to-end delivery and growth of the mentorship program. You will manage a large mentor network, use data to improve mentor performance, student engagement and overall program quality.

You will track metrics such as adoption, utilization, session ratings, and learner feedback, while handling mentor payouts, incentives, and deductions.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Program Management, Operations or Customer Success
• Experience managing a mentor, tutor or freelancer network
• Strong analytical skills with Excel/Google Sheets, Pivot Tables & formulas
• SQL/BI tool exposure is a plus
• Experience with payout/invoice data and policy-based calculations
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Comfortable having direct conversations with underperforming mentors
• EdTech, tutoring or mentorship program experience is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor mentor performance, attendance, SLAs, no-shows and cancellations
• Track metrics including adoption, utilization, session ratings, learner feedback
• Own mentor payout data including session validation, incentives, penalties and deductions
• Drive mentorship program strategy; identify gaps and implement corrective initiatives
• Increase student adoption through lifecycle communications and in-app nudges
• Analyze learner feedback to identify recurring mentor, technical and quality issues
• Collaborate with Business/Category, Support, Product & Engineering to improve the mentorship experience
• Manage escalations and address chronic mentor performance issues

I’m hiring for a Mentorship Program Manager to own the end-to-end delivery and growth of the mentorship program.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, process-oriented, and comfortable managing a large mentor network while using data to improve mentor performance, student engagement and overall program quality.

What You’ll Own

• Manage and monitor mentor performance, attendance, SLAs, no-shows and cancellations
• Track key metrics including adoption, utilization, session ratings, no-show/cancellation rates and learner feedback
• Own mentor payout data, including validation of sessions, incentives, penalties and deductions
• Drive the overall mentorship program strategy, identifying gaps and implementing corrective initiatives
• Increase student adoption through lifecycle communication, in-app nudges and engagement initiatives
• Analyse learner feedback and identify recurring mentor, technical and quality issues
• Work closely with Business/Category, Support, Product & Engineering teams to improve the mentorship experience
• Manage escalations and take action on chronic mentor performance issues
• 2–5 years of experience in Program Management, Operations or Customer Success

• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in Excel/Google Sheets, Pivot Tables & formulas
