Job summary

Info Edge's Shiksha.com is seeking a Mentor Counsellor/TL to guide students interested in overseas education. You will build relationships with registered users, understand their needs, and map them to suitable partner universities abroad.

You will lead a small team, mentor junior counsellors, and ensure timely follow-ups, documentation, and conversion targets while maintaining high-quality student advisory standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Connect with registered users to understand overseas education needs.

• Maintain weekly/monthly conversion reports and progress metrics.

Title: Mentor Counsellor/TL

Required Educational Qualification: Any Graduate or Postgraduate

Desired Experience: 3 - 7 years

Job Objective: Objective is to provide professional guidance to students interested in studying abroad in the empaneled set of universities overseas.

Job Description:

• Connect with already registered users of shiksha.com (students / parents) to understand their requirements of overseas education in-terms of courses, countries, duration, fee structures and other criterions.


• Ensure conversions of potential online leads from the study abroad section of the portal by virtual connects (Calls/Skype/whatsapp) into confirmed admissions in the partner universities / Institutions


• Coordinate and maintain a strong relationship with students ,institutions, universities and university representatives


• Demonstrate expertise for shortlisting of partner universities according to the student profile and ensure documentation along with visa processing guidelines.


• Maintain weekly/monthly reports and process related matrices showing progress on student conversions/target achievement


• Handling a Team and Mentoring them.
