Job summary

UST in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced engineer to perform electrical characterization and compliance for memory interfaces (DDR5/4, LPDDR5/4), and to characterize SoC, processors, PLLs and oscillators. You will work with FPGA design flows using Libero, Quartus and Vivado, writing Verilog/VHDL and developing firmware for multi-core MCUs/CPUs.

Lab environment experience and strong documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Expertise in electrical characterization and/or compliance of memory interfaces (DDR5/4, LPDDR5/4).
• Characterization of SoC, processors, PLLs and oscillators.
• Experience with FPGA design flow (Libero/Quartus/Vivado) using Verilog or VHDL.
• Firmware development on multi-core microcontrollers or processors (ARM/RISC-V).
• Experience with laboratory equipment: BERTs, logic/spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, function generators.
• In-depth knowledge of CMOS device operation and characteristics.
• Exposure to automated characterization flows to maximize equipment use.
• Experience in board design fundamentals, signal and power integrity.
• Initiative, commitment, work quality and strong documentation.

Required Skills and Experience: 4+ Years

• Expertise in electrical characterization and/or compliance of memory interfaces (DDR5/4/etc., LPDDR5/4/etc.)
• Expertise in characterization of SoC, processors, PLL, Oscillators, etc.
• Experience with FPGA design flow (using Libero, Quartus, Vivado, etc.) using Verilog or VHDL
• Firmware Development on multi-core microcontrollers or processors (ARM/RISC-V or similar)
• Experience working in a laboratory environment, using lab equipment such as BERTs, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals including CMOS device operation and characteristics
• Exposure to automated characterization flows to maximize use of equipment
• Experience in board design fundamentals, signal and power integrity
