Job summary

Leadec in Jamnagar is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for glass manufacturing plant operations. You will perform mechanical maintenance, preventive and predictive activities, and assist engineers during shutdowns and overhauls.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance on pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, rollers, valves, hydraulics and pneumatics, plus alignment, lubrication, vibration checks, and adherence to PTW/LOTO safety norms. On-site role with hands-on assembly and testing.

Qualifications

• Follow PTW/LOTO and safety norms at all times.
• Perform mechanical maintenance, breakdowns and PM/PDM activities.
• Able to identify equipment abnormalities such as vibration, noise, leakage or overheating.
• Perform precise assembly work and conduct geometrical testing.
• Pipe fitting, flange joining and gasket selection with proper tightening.

Responsibilities

• Hand-on maintenance in glass manufacturing plant, covering hot zone, cold end and utilities.
• Support assemblies and maintenance of pumps, conveyors, gearboxes and hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Assist engineers during overhauls and shutdowns.
• Execute BD/PM/PDM activities and ensure safety compliance.

Job description

• *Hand on experience in Glass Manufacturing plant, Assembly shop Maintenance, Automation Maintenance
• *Hand on Experience Glass manufacturing Plant Equipment maintenance. operations covering Hot Zone, Cold End, Batch House, Utilities, and Electrical systems.
• *Perform mechanical maintenance, breakdowns, and PM jobs.
• *Hand on experience on pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, rollers, lubrication, Centrifugal and rotary pumps, Compressors, blowers, and fans, couplings, Bearing, LVDT, Loadcell, Valve, Ball Screw, Spindle, LMways,
• *Assist engineers during overhauls and shutdowns.
• *Follow PTW/LOTO and safety norms
• *Perform, BD, PM, PDM Activities
• *Rubber Belt Conveyor Maintenance (Belt Vulcanizer)
• *Hand on experience on MHE Maintenance, Like- EOT Crane, Hoist, Forklift, reach truck,
• *Able to do Precise Assembly work and able to do geometrical testing
• *Ability to identify equipment abnormalities (vibration, noise, leakage, overheating)
• *Pipe fitting, flange jointing, gasket selection, and tightening techniques.
• *Expertise in valves (gate, globe, ball, butterfly, control valves)
