Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy seeks a maintenance supervisor to oversee equipment maintenance across filtration systems, high-pressure vessels, dryers, pumps and material lifts at the Surat site. The role includes ensuring safety, supervising piping and installation work, and maintaining detailed maintenance records and logs.

Responsibilities

• Equipment maintenance & supervision of filtration systems, high-pressure vessels, dryers, pumps and lifts.
• Safety & compliance including LOTO, permit-to-work, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Piping & projects supervision; reading P&IDs, GA drawings, isometrics; support during shutdowns and commissioning.
• System knowledge & documentation with SAP maintenance logging and RCA reports.
• Team and contractor management with coordination across production, EHS and other departments.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance & Supervision: Maintenance of: Filtration systems: AVPF, Filter Presses, HBF, RVDF; High-pressure vessels with agitators; Dryers: rotary calciners, belt dryers, spin flash dryers; Centrifugal blowers, process pumps, and material lifts. Oversee repair, overhaul, and mechanical fabrication activities. Manage maintenance of utilities such as compressors, chillers, cooling towers, Thermic fluid heaters, RO/DM plants. Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance programs.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to LOTO (LockoutTagoutTryout) procedures; Implement permit-to-work systems: Hot Work, Confined Space, Height Work; Promote and enforce safe work practices for internal teams and contractors; Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
• Piping & Projects: Supervise piping work, mechanical installation, and fabrication jobs; Read and interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, and isometric drawings; Provide support during shutdowns, turnarounds, and commissioning.
• System Knowledge & Documentation: Proficient in using SAP for maintenance logging and spare tracking; Maintain detailed maintenance records, equipment downtime logs, and RCA reports.
• Team & Contractor Management: Supervise and guide a team of technicians and contractors; Ensure timely execution of work with high safety and quality standards; Coordinate effectively with Production, EHS, and other departments.
