Job summary

Technocruitx is seeking a technically strong Mechanical Service Engineer for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, and servicing of OWC machines and related equipment at customer sites across India.

You will work from Ambernath (Plant) with frequent PAN India travel, handling mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic faults, and performing alignments and maintenance tasks to ensure reliable operation of industrial machinery.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in industrial machine maintenance, installation, commissioning, or field service.
• Preferred industries: Manufacturing, Heavy Engineering, Waste Management Equipment, Material Handling, Industrial Machinery.

About the Role

We are looking for a technically strong Mechanical Service Engineer responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, and servicing of OWC machines, shredders, composting systems, and other industrial equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, commission, and test OWC machines, shredders, and industrial equipment.
• Conduct machine trials and performance verification.
• Handle preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults.
• Diagnose recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, chains, sprockets, belts, motors, pumps, and mechanical assemblies.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, filters, pressure issues, and oil circulation systems.
• Perform bearing replacement, shaft/coupling alignment, and machine leveling.
• Handle customer breakdown calls and service requirements.
• Train machine operators on operation and routine maintenance.
• Prepare service, maintenance, commissioning, inspection, and spare-parts reports.
• Follow customer-site safety and company quality procedures.
• Travel frequently to customer locations across India.

Required Qualifications
