Job summary

AECOM in Mumbai seeks a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor - Wind PMC to validate quantities and progress for WTG erection activities, including tower sections, nacelles, hubs, blades, and BoP works. You will ensure accurate measurement records and support billing and progress reporting.

The role requires 5–10 years in wind, power, or heavy industrial projects, with a mechanical engineering background and preferred certifications (RICS/NICMAR).

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• RICS, NICMAR, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in wind, power, or heavy industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Verify measurable progress for tower erection, nacelle installation, hub and blade assembly activities.
• Review heavy-lift and crane-supported installation milestones against approved BOQs.
• Validate measurement records and payment support documentation.
• Maintain quantity reconciliation and variation records.
• Coordinate with Mechanical Erection, QA/QC, and Commercial teams.
• Support billing verification and project progress reporting.
