Job summary

AECOM in Mumbai is seeking a QA/QC Engineer Wind PMC to oversee quality surveillance across civil, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning phases. You will prepare and review quality documentation and ensure compliance with ITPs and specifications.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Diploma in an engineering discipline and 5–10 years of QA/QC experience in wind, energy, or infrastructure projects; ISO 9001 knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• 5-10 years in QA/QC within wind, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor/internal Auditor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quality Surveillance: Monitor compliance with ITPs, FQPs, quality plans, and technical specifications; Review inspection requests and quality documentation; Coordinate witness and hold-point inspections.
• NCR & Quality Management: Maintain NCR registers and corrective-action tracking; Monitor closure of quality observations and deviations; Review concession requests and supporting evidence.
• Documentation & Governance: Maintain WTG-wise quality dossiers; Support stage-release and handover quality reviews.

Job Description

The QA/QC Engineer Wind PMC will oversee quality surveillance and documentation across civil, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning activities throughout the wind project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Surveillance

• Monitor compliance with ITPs, FQPs, quality plans, and technical specifications.
• Review inspection requests, material records, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate witness and hold-point inspections.

NCR & Quality Management

• Maintain NCR registers and corrective-action tracking.
• Monitor closure of quality observations and deviations.
• Review concession requests and supporting evidence.

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain WTG-wise quality dossiers.
