Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Electrical Quantity Surveyor - Wind PMC to validate electrical quantities across wind farm projects, ensuring accuracy against drawings, BOQs and site records. The role involves reconciling measurements, coordinating across Electrical, QA/QC, and Commercial teams, and supporting billing and closeout processes.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in wind or electrical infrastructure and hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent certification such as RICS or NICMAR.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• RICS, NICMAR or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in wind, power, or electrical infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Verify cable quantities, terminations, earthing systems, and associated electrical works.
• Validate measurements against approved drawings, BOQs, and site records.
• Maintain electrical quantity reconciliation and variation records.
• Coordinate with Electrical, QA/QC, and Commercial teams.
• Identify quantity discrepancies and incomplete supporting documentation.
• Support billing verification, payment recommendations, and closeout reconciliation.

Job Description

The Electrical Quantity Surveyor - Wind PMC will be responsible for validating electrical work quantities associated with MV/HV cabling, terminations, earthing systems, cable trenches, switchyard interfaces, and electrical BoP works across wind farm projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify cable quantities, terminations, earthing systems, and associated electrical works.


• Validate measurements against approved drawings, BOQs, and site records.


• Maintain electrical quantity reconciliation and variation records.


• Coordinate with Electrical, QA/QC, and Commercial teams.
