Job summary

Iqra Quality Services in India is seeking inspectors to conduct NDT inspections and verify conformance to applicable standards. You will review drawings, procedures, ITPs, and checklists, and perform raw material and dimensional inspections with meticulous documentation.

The role requires 8–10 years of relevant experience, familiarity with ASME, AWS, EN standards, and NDT certification where applicable. Strong reporting, coordination, and communication skills are essential for daily inspection

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering in the relevant discipline.
• 8–10 years of relevant inspection experience.
• Familiarity with ASME, AWS, EN and other relevant industry standards.
• Experience in structural inspections is preferred.
• NDT knowledge and/or certification, where applicable to the discipline.
• Good reporting, documentation, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Review procedures, ITPs, drawings, specifications, and inspection checklists.
• Perform NDT inspections and related tests.
• Witness raw material inspection, dimensional checks, calibration, and related inspections.
• Verify equipment identification, tagging, and document traceability.
• Review vendor inspection and test reports and calibration status.
• Record observations, punch points, and non-conformities.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and assist weekly progress reporting.

Scope of Inspectors

The proposed inspectors shall be responsible for:

• Reviewing approved procedures, ITPs, drawings, specifications, and inspection checklists.
• Performing NDT inspections
• raw material inspection, Witnessing dimensional checks, NDT activities, fit up inspection, calibration, functional testing, painting inspection and other applicable inspections carried out by the vendor.
• Verifying equipment identification, tagging, and document traceability.
• Reviewing vendor-prepared inspection and test reports.
• Verifying the calibration status of instruments used by the vendor.
• Recording inspection observations, punch points, and non-conformities.
• Preparing daily inspection reports and supporting weekly progress reporting.
