Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a skilled professional in Vadodara, Gujarat for Inspection & NDT Quality Control and Quality Assurance in fabrication.

The role involves monitoring and witnessing ITPs, material verification, NDE, PWHT evaluation, welding surveillance, instrument management, NCR handling, and documentation. You will also prepare release reports and performance summaries while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, witness, and review project Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) activities in line with approved contractual requirements, approving stage inspections.
• Review of Inspection & Test Plan, material verification, and all stages of inspection. Review of material test reports.
• Witnessing NDE and performing visual examinations. Review of PT, MPT.
• Study and interpretation of fabrication drawings, shop drawings, weld maps, and symbols.
• Evaluation of PWHT charts.
• Surveillance during welding to ensure use of approved welding parameters.
• Ensuring measurement instruments are correctly managed and calibrated.
• Raising NCRs for defective materials and resolving root causes.
• Inspection of joints fit-up, alignment, and dimensional accuracy as per drawing requirements.
• Maintaining welding inspection/NDT reports and record tracking.
• Preparation of welding inspection summary/joint tracking log.
• Prepare inspection release reports and verification of quantities shipped, including packing and identification marking.
• Preparation of weekly and monthly welding performance reports. Conducting MRM, QRM, QIM.
• Reviewing documents of test packages prior to releasing test packs; hydro/pneumatic testing of piping fabrication.
• Maintaining documents per Quality Manual as per ISO 9001:2015, ISO 19443, ASME SEC III, ASME IV, 10 CFR Part 50, SELO.
• Participating Interdepartmental audits across company.
• Planning, maintaining and conducting vendor audit & surveillance. Approving Vendor Documents.

• Documentation: Maintaining welding inspection/NDT reports and record tracking. Preparation of welding inspection summary/joint tracking log.
