Larsen & Toubro Limited is seeking an experienced Inspection and Quality Control professional to oversee structural fabrication, assembly, fit-up, erection and welding activities at site. You will ensure adherence to approved drawings, project specifications and ITPs, and verify dimensional tolerances on multiple fabrication stages.

The role requires timely witnessing of inspections, documentation of results, NCR raising and tracking corrective actions, and coordination with production,

Responsabilités

• Inspect fabrication, assembly, fit-up, erection and welding activities.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, ITPs, and standards.
• Perform dimensional inspections and verify tolerances.
• Verify material identification, traceability, and certificates.
• Witness and document inspections and testing per ITPs.
• Monitor quality during production and ensure requirements are met.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, NDT, welding, and client reps.
• Review welding records, NDT reports, and quality documentation.
• Raise NCRs and track corrective actions.
• Participate in client and third-party inspections and audits.
• Maintain inspection records, punch lists and MRB documentation.
• Ensure preservation, handling, storage, and transport requirements.
• Promote adherence to HSE during inspection and QC activities.
• Support continual improvement of fabrication quality and project performance.

Description du poste

• Perform inspection and surveillance of structural fabrication, assembly, fit-up, erection, and welding activities.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, ITPs, procedures, and applicable standards.
• Conduct dimensional inspections of fabricated structures and verify compliance with approved tolerances.
• Inspect structural fit-up, alignment, bevel preparation, weld preparation, and assembly activities.
• Verify material identification, traceability, material certificates, and compliance with project requirements.
• Witness and document inspection and testing activities in accordance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Monitor fabrication activities and ensure quality requirements are achieved at all stages of production.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, NDT, welding, and client representatives during inspections.
• Review welding records, NDT reports, dimensional reports, and quality documentation.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in client inspections, third-party inspections, audits, and quality surveillance activities.
• Maintain inspection records, punch lists, quality reports, and inspection registers.
• Support compilation of Manufacturing Record Books (MRB), Quality Dossiers, and project turnover documentation.
• Verify preservation, handling, storage, and transportation requirements for fabricated structures.
• Monitor compliance with quality procedures, project requirements, and client specifications.
• Promote adherence to HSE requirements during inspection and quality control activities.
• Support continual improvement initiatives related to structural fabrication quality and project quality performance.
