Job summary

Deepsea Technologies India in Hyderabad requires a Quality Operations professional to manage day-to-day quality activities and assist in preparing quotations.

You will coordinate with production staff, implement ISO 9001 and API Q1 QMS, train inspectors, review drawings, and ensure timely quality documentation and supplier inspections.

Applicants should have BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy and an NDT Level Certificate.

Qualifications

• BE / B.TECH / Diploma in Mechanical, Production or Metallurgy.
• Any NDT Level Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Quality department and assist Manager in preparing quotations.
• Allocate work to Quality department staff.
• Fulfil ISO 9001 and API Q1 QMS requirements.
• Coordinate with Works Manager and Production Supervisor to understand production and dispatch needs.
• Review stage and final drawings and inspection plans; communicate requirements to operators and maintain inspection reports.
• Train new inspectors.
• Collaborate with shop supervisors to resolve quality issues on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with CMM, calibration, mechanical/chemical inspection, and NDT service providers.
• Discuss challenges with the Works Manager and suggest improvements.
• Prepare Product Quality Plans (PQP) per customer drawings/specifications.
• Prepare, review, and distribute quality documentation.
• Coordinate with Purchase department and suppliers for inspections.
• Put non-conforming material on hold for disposition.

• Provide training for new inspectors.
• Work with shop supervisors and operators in solving quality related shop floor problems.
