Job summary

Amor Management Consultants in Maharashtra, India, seeks a Maintenance Engineer with deep expertise in forging presses (Friction Screw, Servo, Direct Drive) and related heat treatment equipment to improve reliability and maximize production uptime.

You will work hands-on with hydraulic pumps, bearings, actuators, LM guideways, and servo proportional valves; perform root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, plan preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of forging presses such as Friction Screw, Servo, Direct Drive, Hydraulic and Heat Treatment equipment including furnaces.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic pumps, bearings, actuators, LM guideways, and servo proportional valves.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve equipment and systems to reduce breakdowns and maximize production availability.
• Plan preventive, predictive, condition-based (CBM), and time-based (TBM) maintenance.
• Reduce machine downtime and ensure high equipment availability.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare technical specifications for procurement of mechanical equipment and materials.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, OHSAS 18001, and ENMS 50001.
• Manage critical spare parts inventory.
• Shift handling.

• Plan Preventive, Predictive, Condition-Based (CBM), and Time-Based (TBM) maintenance.
• Reduce machine downtime and ensure maximum equipment availability for production.
• Conduct root cause analysis (Why-Why Analysis) and implement corrective actions.
• Improved MTTR & MTBF.
• Prepare technical specifications for procurement of mechanical equipment and materials.
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards: IATF 16949, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, OHSAS 18001, and ENMS 50001.
• Manage critical spare parts inventory.

Candidate Profile

Essential:

1. In-depth knowledge of forging presses such as Friction Screw, Servo, Direct Drive, Hydraulic and Heat Treatment equipment including furnaces.
