Qualifications

• 7+ years in engineering with an EPC role for at least 3 years.
• Ability to lead medium-sized multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Proven FEED and EPC execution experience, including field engineering.
• Design reviews experience, with CAAD/AutoCAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EPC activities for mechanical scope of CBG project.
• Ensure HSSE and quality policies are understood and followed.
• Deliver project engineering scope on schedule and to quality.
• Manage Project Engineering team performance per job descriptions.
• Review progress with Project Head and Engineers; resolve issues.
• Own P&ID production and coordinate change management.
• Organize plot plan reviews for mechanical components, piping, instruments.
• Attend weekly meetings including design reviews and constructability.
• Coordinate document distribution matrix input and updates.
• Identify and document filing systems requirements.
• Capture engineering lessons learned for corporate review.
• Monitor QA/audit actions and expedite closures.
• Produce project close-out report and line lists content/layout.

Hiring Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer (EPC) for the CBG plant will be responsible for overseeing the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities for the mechanical aspects of the project. This role focuses on the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems in the CBG plant, ensuring that all systems meet operational and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CBG or biogas plant operations, with expertise in mechanical engineering, process equipment, and project execution.

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Ensure that the content and objective of the Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Sustainability Policies (HSSE&S) and Quality Policy and the Information Security policies are implemented and understood by all supervised staff.
• 2. Ensure that the content and objective of the Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Sustainability Policies (HSSE&S) and Quality Policy and the Information Security policies are implemented and understood by all supervised staff.
• 3. Delivery of Project Engineering scope of work for whole Project to schedule and compliant to Refex and Project quality requirements.
• 4. Project Engineering team performance, ensuring each member of the Project Engineering team is delivering according to their job description and the correct application of Refex quality system as it relates to Project Engineering.
• 5. Review progress regularly with Project Head and Project Engineers, understand key issues preventing progress and assist in resolving these issues.
• 6. Overall responsibility for P&ID production across all areas. Coordinate Engineering change management activities across the whole Project.
• 7. Arrange and chair overall plot plan review for Mechanical Components , Piping and Instruments . Ensure that notes and actions from this review are taken and issued promptly
• 8. Attend weekly Lead Engineers meeting, Mechanical Design Review, Constructability Review.
• 9. Coordinate Engineering input to document distribution matrix and ensure matrix is regularly reviewed and updated.
• 10. Identify filing systems requirements and ensure these are properly documented.
• 11. Coordinate the capture of all engineering lessons learned ensuring that these are submitted into the Company system for corporate review.
• 12. Monitor status of actions arising from QA and discipline audits and expedite their closure where required.
• 13. Produce project close out report for Project Engineering activities and Set-up / agreement for line lists etc. content and layout.

Desired Profile:

• 1. A minimum of 7 years of experience in Engineering environment with EPC role for 3 years in discipline project execution (Essential).
• 2. Ability to lead medium teams in a multi-discipline task force-based engineering / lumpsum services environment.
• 3. Proven expertise in FEED and EPC Engineering execution including Field Engineering in Project execution
