LR Energy is seeking a Senior Manager – Engineering (Mechanical) to lead the mechanical engineering function for renewable energy and environmental infrastructure projects at the Head Office in Gurugram, Haryana. The role requires 15+ years of experience in mechanical/EPC engineering and a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical (Piping) with a Master's as an advantage.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in mechanical/EPC engineering for energy projects.
• Experience with CB G Biogas or renewable energy projects preferred.
• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree advantageous.
• Ability to review PFDs, P&IDs, GA drawings, layouts and isometrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering activities for EPC projects from concept to commissioning.
• Review/approve mechanical deliverables and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage project schedules.
• Ensure quality, safety, and documentation controls across projects.

Compensation: CTC: Up to ₹12 LPA (Based on experience and competency)

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager – Engineering (Mechanical) to lead the mechanical engineering function for renewable energy and environmental infrastructure projects. The incumbent will be responsible for engineering design, technical reviews, project coordination, vendor management, quality assurance, and timely execution of multiple projects related to Compressed Biogas (CBG) projects.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Design

• Lead mechanical engineering activities for EPC projects from concept to commissioning.
• Review and approve mechanical engineering deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, GA drawings, equipment layouts, piping layouts, isometrics, and fabrication drawings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, statutory regulations, and client specifications.
• Optimize engineering designs to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and maintainability.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, Procurement, and Project Execution teams.
• Provide engineering support during project execution and commissioning.
• Resolve technical issues encountered during fabrication, erection, and commissioning.
• Monitor engineering schedules to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to quality management systems.
• Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external technical audits.
