LR Energy is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer/Project Engineer – Civil for PMC activities at the BPCL Bina Refinery CBG Project. The candidate will supervise, monitor, and coordinate civil works at site, ensuring quality, safety, and timely progress.

The role requires 6+ years of relevant experience in industrial or refinery environments, with strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling tools. It is a full-time, site-based position.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Industrial, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Refinery, CBG, Waste-to-Energy, EPC or PMC projects.
• PMC/Consultancy project execution preferred.
• Exposure to refinery/industrial projects with major Oil & Gas companies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction activities on site according to drawings and specs.
• Verify quantities, measurements, and RA bills submitted by contractors.
• Coordinate with Client, EPC Contractor, consultants, PMC team and other stakeholders for project execution.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer / Project Engineer – Civil for PMC activities at the BPCL Bina Refinery CBG Project. The candidate will be responsible for supervision, monitoring, quality control, measurement verification, contractor coordination, documentation, and overall progress monitoring of civil works at site.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision and monitoring of civil construction activities at site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, BOQ and project requirements.


• Review and verification of civil drawings, technical specifications, method statements, ITPs, work procedures and contractor submissions.


• Verification of quantities, measurements, BOQ items and RA/final bills submitted by the contractor.


• Monitoring of physical progress against the approved project schedule and identifying delays, constraints and areas requiring corrective action.


• Coordination with Client, EPC Contractor, consultants, PMC team and other stakeholders for smooth execution of project activities.


• Monitoring of construction quality and ensuring compliance with applicable IS Codes, project specifications, approved drawings, ITPs and QA/QC requirements.


• Verification of material consumption, site records, measurement sheets, test reports and other supporting documents.


• Monitoring of civil works including earthwork, excavation, PCC/RCC, structural works, foundations, roads, drainage, boundary wall and other associated infrastructure works.


• Review of contractor's work planning, resource deployment and site mobilization for civil works.


• Identification and resolution of site-related technical and execution issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders.


• Participation in project review meetings and preparation/follow-up of action points and observations.


• Maintaining proper records of measurements, inspections, approvals, correspondence, hindrances and other project documentation.


• Ensuring compliance with project HSE requirements and safe execution of civil activities.


• Support in preparation/review of quantity estimates, BOQ/SOR and variation/deviation proposals, wherever required.


• Ensuring timely completion of civil activities in line with the approved project schedule and contractual requirements.

Qualification & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.


• Relevant experience in Industrial, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Refinery, CBG, Waste-to-Energy, EPC or PMC projects.


• Experience in PMC/Consultancy project execution will be preferred.


• Exposure to refinery/industrial projects and working with major Oil & Gas companies will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


• Working knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation, rate analysis, measurements and RA bill verification.


• Good understanding of civil construction practices, QA/QC requirements and applicable IS Codes.


• Knowledge of project planning/scheduling software such as MS Project/Primavera will be an advantage.


• Good understanding of project documentation and contractor management.


• Strong site execution and monitoring skills.


• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities.


• Ability to work independently at site and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.


• Strong focus on quality, safety, documentation and timely project completion.
