Openings are available at multiple sites in Vapi, Sarigam, and Panoli/Ankleshwar/Jhagadia, near Vapi and Ankleshwar in Gujarat. The role focuses on optimizing plant efficiency, reducing losses, monitoring boiler feed water, and coordinating preventive/corrective maintenance.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Exposure to boiler, turbine, and captive power plant environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Optimize fuel consumption and improve overall plant efficiency.
• Reduce fuel, steam, water, and ash losses.
• Record and report daily shift-wise manpower.
• Ensure proper housekeeping of the plant area.
• Monitor the quality of boiler feed water.
• Conduct routine checks of mechanical equipment and report abnormalities.
• Follow preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.
• Ensure safety of manpower and report near-miss incidents.
• Share hourly steam distribution data with department management.
• Communicate with clients regarding steam flow and pressure issues.
• Monitor performance of boilers, turbines, pumps, valves and other mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Identify mechanical issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for quick resolution.
