Job summary

Hakke Industries Pvt Ltd in India is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Production and Planning team. You will develop production plans, prepare laser cutting programs, and coordinate with design, fabrication, and shop-floor teams to ensure timely execution of PEB manufacturing activities.

The ideal candidate has a BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering with 2–3 years of relevant experience in production, planning, laser cutting, and fabrication.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in production, planning, laser cutting, fabrication, or manufacturing.
• Hands-on knowledge of laser cutting programming and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering/fabrication drawings.
• Good understanding of production planning and shop-floor coordination.
• Experience in PEB manufacturing will be strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication/manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work from Chamarajanagar.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute production plans and schedules based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with production, design, fabrication, and other relevant departments to ensure timely production.
• Prepare and manage laser cutting programs as per approved drawings and production requirements.
• Operate/program laser cutting machines and ensure optimum material utilization.
• Review engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and cutting requirements.
• Ensure correct dimensions, specifications, and material requirements before production.
• Monitor production progress and coordinate with shop-floor teams to achieve planned targets.
• Identify production delays, material issues, or technical problems and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Ensure proper sequencing of jobs and effective utilization of manpower and machinery.
• Maintain production-related records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and production standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and operators for smooth execution of manufacturing activities.
• Support continuous improvement in production processes, productivity, and material utilization.

Key Requirements

• Ability to understand and interpret engineering/fabrication drawings.
• Good understanding of production planning and shop‑floor coordination.
• Candidates with experience in PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) manufacturing will be strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication/manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Willingness to work from Chamarajanagar.
