Qualifications

• Good understanding of welding, bending, machining, cutting, and general fabrication techniques.
• Familiarity with GD&T, dimensional tolerances, and standard engineering drawing practices.
• Ability to prepare and maintain BOMs, engineering documentation, and drawing revision records.
• Basic knowledge of structural design principles, load calculations, and mechanical strength considerations.
• Sound understanding of engineering materials, including MS, SS, Aluminium, and sandwich/insulated panels.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications, technical drawings, and project requirements, and translate them into manufacturable design solutions.
• Coordinate with production, fabrication, and quality teams to ensure design compliance and smooth execution of projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in enclosure, shelter, cabinet, or structural fabrication design.
• Knowledge of manufacturing standards and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and engineering change management processes will be an added advantage.
