Job summary

Ilensys Technologies seeks an experienced engineer to lead design and product development activities. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into robust designs, drawings, and 3D models. The role requires hands-on SolidWorks work and rigorous adherence to drawing standards.

You will monitor project scope and deadlines, review technical documents, and manage engineering change processes while collaborating with global teams and clients.

Qualifications

• SolidWorks – 4+ years hands-on experience.
• GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis knowledge.
• Understanding drawing standards: ISO, ANSI/ASME.
• Product development and engineering change management process knowledge.
• Capability to work on global product development projects independently.

Responsibilities

Manage design and product development activities, working with cross functional teams to design and deliver product design by taking customer requirements.

• Managing daily operations of technical engineering team.
• Monitor scope and deadlines to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Evaluate design configurations, review technical documents and drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment with project requirements
• Create detailed technical drawings, specifications and 3D Models.

Essential Skillset:

• Good engineering fundamental knowledge
• Good knowledge on drawing Standards(ISO, ANSI/ASME)
• 4+ years of hands-on experience on Solidworks
• Good knowledge on Teamcenter / PDM tools
• Product development and engineering change management process knowledge.
• Capability to understand/ apply GD&T and Tolerance Stack-up analysis
• Able to work on global product development projects independently.
• Able to manage his/her deliverables and clearly communicate with client
• Excellent team, time management and interpersonal skills
