Job summary

Renew in Gujarat, India, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsman to create and modify 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar CAD tools. Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Design Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of drafting in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or 3D CAD software.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerances and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with fabrication, machining, sheet metal, welding and assembly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities :

• Create and modify 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar CAD software.
• Prepare manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings.
• Develop detailed part drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and shop-floor documentation.
• Review engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations to prepare accurate drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and procurement teams regarding design changes.
• Maintain drawing revisions and document control records.
• Support product development and process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare layout drawings, structural drawings, and equipment drawings as required.

Required Qualifications :
