Job summary

V-Guard in Kerala is seeking a CAD Design Engineer to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software.

You will support design engineers in new product development, manage BOMs, revision control, and documentation, while coordinating with production and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance with engineering standards. Strong knowledge of sheet metal design and GD&T is preferred, with PLM familiarity.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD modelling and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with BOM preparation and document control.
• Knowledge of GD&T fundamentals and engineering drawing standards.
• Familiarity with PLM systems such as Windchill, Teamcenter, or Autodesk Vault.
• Exposure to design for manufacturing (DFM) concepts.
