Job summary

Career Tree Hr Solutions is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for material handling equipment in Tamil Nadu. The role focuses on preventive and breakdown maintenance of EOT cranes, scissor lifts, forklifts, and battery trolleys, with emphasis on safety and uptime.

The candidate should be hands-on with mechanical and electrical systems, capable of troubleshooting faults, and ready to work in shifts.

Qualifications

• Ready to work in shifts and attend emergency break downs.
• Should have knowledge in ISO 9001, 45001.
• Should have knowledge in Kaizen, Continuous improvement.
• Should have knowledge in MS Office, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive and break down maintenance of EOT crane, Scissor lift, Fork lift and battery operated trolleys.
• Inspect mechanical components such as wire rope, hooks, brakes, gear box, coupling and wheels.
• Check and maintain systems including motors, limit switches, pendant, Drives- VFD (Make-ABB & SEW), Braking resistors, remote and hoist controls.
• Identify faults, troubleshoot issues and carryout timely repair to minimize down time
• Ensure proper lubrication of moving parts, alignment and tightness of crane components
• Conduct load testing and safety inspection as per standard (EOT crane capacity 2ton to 500ton)
• Maintain maintenance records, Check lists and report
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with cross functional team during maintenance activity
• Check and service batteries,chargers, Fuel system and cooling system for fork lifts
• Conduct safety check including horn, lights, brakes and load handling mechanism for scissor lift and fork lift
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Willingness to learn EOT crane ,Fork lift and Scissor lift maintenance
• Ability to assist in preventive and break down maintenance activities
• Basic under standing of safety rule sand safe work practices
• Good attitude ,willingness to learn and team work skills
