Job summary

NIIT Foundation is seeking an on-site Field Outreach Coordinator to drive community engagement and education initiatives in Bihar. You will reach farmers, workers, teachers, and local authorities, ensuring outreach targets are met and data is accurately recorded.

The role requires 3–5 years of grassroots experience, strong leadership, and ability to relocate as needed. Travel and report preparation will be routine, with emphasis on training quality and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Commerce/Economics Education, Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of grassroots project implementation or team supervision experience.
• Open to travel and relocate to project location.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with community mobilization and training processes.

• Approach target groups: Farmers, Villagers, Daily Wagers, Entrepreneurs, Govt Officials, Salaried, Self-Employed, School Staff, Home Makers, Nurses, SHGs/JLG, Trainees.
• Ensure target outreach numbers are met in the assigned location.
• Build rapport with local community members, stakeholders, and institutions.
• Track and document daily and weekly progress of activities.
• Maintain attendance sheets, session reports, and other required documentation.
• Prepare weekly/ monthly reports of beneficiaries’ data and capture training feedback.

Job Description

• Approaching the Target Group – Farmers / Villagers,Daily Wagers,Entrepreneurs,Government Officials,Salaried, Self Employed / Freelancers,School Staff,School Staff,Home Makers,Nurses,SHGs / JLG,Trainees (Ready to enter workforce).
• Ensure target outreach numbers are met in the assigned location
• Build rapport with local community members, stakeholders, and institutions.
• Track and document daily and weekly progress of activities.
• Maintain attendance sheets, session reports, and other required documentation.
• Prepare the weekly- monthly reports of beneficiary’s data and capture the training feedback, Case studies and Testimonials.
• Submit timely updates and reports to the project manager and central project team.
• Ensure that the quality of training and mobilization efforts meet project standards.
• Manage logistics for sessions and monitoring expenses as per budget, such as training material distribution, venue setup, refreshments arrangements etc.
• Coordinate with coordinator to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Commerce/Economics Education, Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in grassroots project implementation or team supervision.
• Open to travel and relocate at the project location
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with community mobilization and training processes.
• Fluency in the local language and basic proficiency in English and MS Office.
